You got a compliment, and immediately explained why you didn't really deserve it.
Simple Being · Dana Niv
Mental resilience isn't a superpower. It's a set of small tools you can learn.
I'm Dana, and I teach simple, research-based tools for emotional regulation, self-compassion, and Nonviolent Communication. For you, and for your team.
Who is this for?

Sound familiar?
The day is over, but your mind keeps working overtime.
You wanted to say something important, and it turned into a fight.
These aren't character flaws. They're natural mechanisms, and you can learn to work with them. That's exactly what I work on: small tools you can start using tomorrow morning.
Two ways to work with me
For myself
- Weekly posts on Instagram, down to earth
- Open workshops and small groups
For organizations
- Human OS: the resilience protocol, as a talk or a workshop
- 75–90 minutes, tailored to your team
- A good fit for company days, wellbeing activities, and stressful periods
What makes my approach different
Research-based
The tools are grounded in psychology and research on stress and resilience. No magic promises.
Practical, not just inspiring
You leave with a practice you can do in a minute, anywhere.
Down to earth
No jargon and no preaching. We talk about what's really going on.

Nice to meet you
I'm Dana Niv
I studied psychology and sociology (B.A.), and for years I worked in mental health rehabilitation and facilitated groups. As a resilience coach, including at Clalit Health Services, I saw again and again that the most meaningful tools are usually also the simplest, as long as they're explained well and actually practiced.
Today I'm studying for a master's degree in social work (MSW) and doing a clinical internship. In my work, I combine tools from Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and from the world of emotional regulation. Simple Being grew out of one idea: to simply be. Even when the world is complicated.
- B.A. in psychology and sociology
- Mental health rehabilitation
- Group facilitation
- Resilience coach
- Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
- MSW student
