For organizations and teams

Human OS: the resilience protocol

An experiential talk or workshop for teams: how to keep working well over the long run, without burning out. Research-based tools, in plain language, that you can start using the very next day.

  • Talk
  • Workshop
  • 75–90 minutes
  • Tailored to your organization

So what is "Human OS"?

Human OS means "the human operating system." Just like a computer, we have hardware (the body), software (our attention and thoughts), and a navigation system (our values and direction). When one of them gets overloaded, everything starts to slow down. In the workshop, you learn to notice what's overloaded and how to give it a "restart."

What you'll learn

Hardware

The body: the physiology of resilience

  • How stress works in the body, and why it is not "only in your head"
  • Managing personal resources wisely
  • Sleep, movement, and nutrition: the "1 is better than 0" principle
  • A quick restart for the body, anywhere, anytime

Software

The mind: managing attention

  • Noticing thoughts that run in the background, and the "going over it again and again" loop
  • Practical mindfulness tools, without meditation
  • Creating a small gap between stress and your response
  • Acting from choice, not on autopilot

Navigation

Direction: adapting to change

  • Adapting to changes you didn't plan for
  • Holding on to your values and sense of satisfaction, even under pressure
  • Changing direction when conditions change
  • A sense of control and meaning

What the team takes away

  1. 01

    Less burnout, more focus

Emotional regulation tools help people stay sharp, focused, and creative over time, and lower the risk of burnout.

  2. 02

    A shared language

When we understand together how the body and the mind respond to stress, it is easier to talk about it as a team. Less judgment, more empathy.

  3. 03

    An experience that stays

The workshop is experiential, engaging, and sometimes even funny. It's a great fit for a company day or a wellbeing activity.
