For myself

Tools for yourself, at your own pace

You don't need to "fix" yourself. You need a few good tools, and a place to practice them without judgment.

What we work on

Emotional regulation

What happens in the body when we're under stress, and how to get back to balance within a minute, without pretending everything is fine.

Self-compassion

Being fair to ourselves. Talking to ourselves the way we'd talk to a good friend.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

How to say something important without it turning into a fight, and how to listen even when it's hard.

Nonviolent Communication, in one sentence

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a way of speaking and listening developed by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg. The idea is simple: behind every reaction, even one that's hard to hear, there's a need. When we recognize the need, in ourselves and in the other person, it becomes much easier to meet each other.

  1. What happened? – A description, without interpretation
  2. What am I feeling?
  3. What do I need?
  4. What is my request? – A request, not a demand
